Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, known for parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. In the 1980s, she began her acting career. She became popular with the role of Tezaab in which she appeared with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her next appearance was in Dil which she shared screen space with Aamir. Born into an Mumbai middle class family and began dancing at a young age. When she was a teen she started acting, and was a victim for a few years as the majority of her early films failed. She finally found success, and she went on to be one of the most well-known actresses in the Indian film business. After her marriage, she took a hiatus in her professional career. She returned later. She was a key character in Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. She is known for her charitable work as well.
