Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Following the divorce of her parents the actress left Worthington Ohio in order to settle at Los Angeles. Her first role came to her, as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time in the financial department. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was the main character for the initial two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace was dropped from the series in the year 2005, to take on the role of a greater part in films, having appeared opposite Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress has also appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club both in 2007 and in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is a modern version from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season which ran between 2013 and 2014. She plays Faith who is both an avid stargazer as well as a socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Then she appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's lead roles in Secretary, the romantic comedy-drama erotico as well as Sherrybaby (a dramatic) received her nominations for Golden Globe Awards.
